I will be teaching some more art classes this spring, Tues evenings 6 to 9 pm April 10th and 17th 2012. They will be held at the Marble Church in Actinolyte, Ontario. They will be in acrylic painting techniques for beginners or intermediate level painters. This time we will be painting spring flowers Contact me for details.
The next two classes on fall landscapes are fully booked, but contact me in case there are cancellations. The cost is $50 for two 3 hours sessions. 6-9 p.m on Mon Oct 17th and Mon Oct 24th.

These classes were well attended and I considered them a success, so we are doing more in March. One of the new classes will be "Spring flowers" and perhaps we will do more landscapes. Dates to be announced.
I am no longer teaching beginners acrylic painting classes at the Belleville Michaels store, but I will be teaching some "plein air" classes in the summer months at my farm. There are lots of possible subjects to paint including animals such as sheep, llamas,cats and chickens. There are old buildings including a classic old barn with multiple interesting angles. Maple trees, wild flowers, fields and other landscapes are other options.
Students can work in any medium including oils, watercolor or pastels, or simply do a pencil drawing. Children over 14 are welcome. Younger children may come but must be accompanied by a parent.
